Perhaps it is the simplest form of transformation. You get dressed or you get undressed. No one does the latter as stunningly as Beatrice Fleischlin aka Jimmy in «My ten favourite ways to undress». It is basically already a performance classic. Released in 2009, awarded the «100° Prize» and then invited to the Impulse Festival, Fleischlin gets to the essence of body art and transforms it – contrary to tradition – into a small celebration of exhibitionist lightness, into a comedy.

Like «Ibsen:Gespenster», this work now has a long history. The world has changed, as has the artist. The body has grown older, more vulnerable, more susceptible to attack. Further transformations have taken place. And so Beatrice Fleischlin aka Jimmy takes to the stage once again, once again playing the tricky game with nudity, that last resort of human glamour. And the Basel Documentary Platform ends with a performance gem.
